“The hardest day in an Engineering
student’s life is not the day he gets his result. It’s the day he gets judged –
Placement Day. Everything he has learnt and ignored throughout his four years
of being in college comes back one final time to haunt him. But what if he had
bigger problems that were linked to it? What if the same thing that helped him
get to where he was, was keeping him from getting to where he wanted to go?
Long story short, he fell in love.”
 My Review
Another love story, like the name implies, is  just another
love story. The protagonist, whose name is not mentioned throughout the book (I
assume that it is the author himself) falls for a girl- Shwetha. He revolves
around her like a love stuck teenager. After a happening love story, they break
up. Why because he didn’t pay heed to her while they passed by. Yes! quite a
reason for a break up. The day after the break up, they are attending a job
placement. the protagonist faces the final round with the strangest
resume ever, which in turn changes his life forever.
The story will definitely appeal to the YA lovers, since it has
all the flavors for a love story. Love, pain, action, humor(if you call it so).
The story is simple, narration is vernacular. Lack of depth is the main
drawback of the story. The reason why the protagonist falls in love with the
girl, how the girl falls for him, how they break up are all extremely silly.
Again and again it is proved that the new generation lacks any depth in
relations and that their outlook of  life is nowhere near reality.
The book is recommended for the mass of readers who are looking
for an easy breezy read.

About the author
“After writing his first poem at the age
of 14, the author has had a wonderful journey. He began with pieces of writing
pertaining just to love and later ventured into other genres. With a flair for
entertaining people, he moved into speaking and the response was just as strong
as it was for his writing. He is an engineer by qualification and dreams of
becoming a writer by profession. He also has this weird affinity to the number
three, being born on the third day of the month. Somewhere between his tenth short
story and his thirtieth poem, he had this sudden urge to write something
bigger. So, he began writing. With all his experience with relationships and
heart-breaks, he turned to writing Another Love Story.”
