My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Feeding your child has always been a struggle and nightmares for all parents especially mothers. From toddler tantrums to teenage anorexia, they never fails to trouble their creators. But the greatest challenge is to get to know the do’s and dont’s for feeding your child. Parents are overfed with information from internet that they believe anything and everything that they read online and try it on their children. What they fail to see is that not everyone who post articles online are qualified.

Another mistake is overfeeding your child to make them look like a chubby sweet cuddly things who attract every eyes. Apparently they pave the way to obesity for their child through this stuffing. Another mistake is depriving your child of everything that is unhealthy, which will force them to sly eating.

Author addresses every issues and has chapters dedicated to each type of parents. Author has mentioned in the introduction that she has tried to make the book as interesting as possible. Author had touched almost every areas possible.

The dietary requirements and the contents, mentioned in the book are available easily but while writing a nutrition book, it is required and hence justifiable. Towards the end of the book, there is a list of recipes which are actually very helpful and easy to make.

Even though the author has mentioned the do’s and dont’s some of them are far from pragmatic. There are a lot of repetition, which will force a non-reader to skip the pages.

Nevertheless I would say that the book is definitely a must in a mother’s book shelf.
