Highlights

Agogo is an unconventional story of Carl, whose mind travels through several realms of craziness. The book is a novella divided into 10 chapters.The main character are Carl, M, old man, and a frog. Carl is accused of committing a crime, which M did. Who is M? That’s a suspense. Every chapter is structured in a unique manner with a prose in the beginning and poetry in between. Author explains the psychological and philosophical journey of Carl. The book cover is designed by author himself. He did the art work in the 8^th chapter as well, which came out in sync with the story. The book is a sincere effort to introduce a new form you literature to the readers.

Drawbacks

Author tried really hard to bring out a philosophical journey but at certain areas, he failed to portray the same convincingly. There were a few grammatical errors.

For those who like to read something different from the usual literary propaganda, this is a good choice.

About the Author

Bharat Menon was born in the small coastal town of Kozhikode (Calicut) in Kerala. He completed his Bachelor's degree from Loyola College, Chennai in 2010. He currently works as a Financial Analyst in a Wall Street firm. 

The cover painting titled 'Peering through a Window' as well as the illustrations inside on Chapter 8 are done by the author himself. The title of the book, AGŌGOS is from a Greek word. Etymologically it means 'leading to'. The paintings and title are reflections of the author's various Lucid Dreams.
